How It Works

From idea to custom apparel concept

Watch the 80-second walkthrough, then try your first design free. AI starts the concept. Excel artists finish the design.

Four simple steps

  1. 01

    Tell us about you

Answer a few quick questions in chat: your company, team or event, and what the shirt is for.

  2. 02

    Add your logo and photos

Upload your logo and up to two photos — a truck, building, mascot or product.

  3. 03

    Get two designs

Concept Studio creates two directions. Pick a favorite, refine it, and preview it on a shirt.

  4. 04

    Artists finish it

Send it to a Brand Expert. Our in-house artists rebuild it as print-ready artwork.

Tips for the best results

  • Describe a scene or action — “truck pulling a car out of a ditch at night” beats “tow truck.”
  • Upload a clear photo of the real thing you want drawn; it's kept as accurate as possible.
  • Name your colors, or let us pick ones that print well on your shirt color.
  • Add a slogan if you have one — your exact wording is kept.
  • Don't love it? Revise it with plain words like “make the truck bigger” or “add flames.”

Questions

Does it cost anything to design?

No. Designing is free. You only pay when you order printed apparel.

Do I need an account?

No — your first design (two versions) is free without one. A free account adds monthly credits, saves your work and unlocks revisions.

How do credits work?

Each new design or revision uses a credit. Free accounts get 15 credits every month, and any guest design you made carries over when you sign up.

Is the AI design the final artwork?

No. It's a starting concept. Excel's in-house artists refine it and prepare it for print.

What's the minimum order?

100 pieces for a new design, and you can mix garment types — tees, hoodies, long sleeves and sweatshirts.
