Creative Ownership
Concept Studio AI concepts are intended to begin the design conversation. They are not final deliverables.
Excel Sportswear owns all concepts, prompts, compositions, layouts, generated artwork, design directions, derivative works, and any other creative outputs produced through Concept Studio AI, as well as anything else produced using the tool. Generating a concept does not, on its own, transfer ownership or usage rights to the user.
What You Get With a Concept
When you create a concept in Concept Studio AI, you receive a watermarked preview that you can save to your account, share with your team, and use to evaluate direction before moving forward with production.
The watermarked preview is provided for evaluation and internal discussion. It is not licensed for commercial use, resale, printing outside Excel Sportswear, or public distribution.
High-Resolution Concept Rights
Users may request rights to the high-resolution, non-watermarked version of a concept. Requests are reviewed case-by-case and may carry a fee. To request access, contact info@exceltees.com or your Brand Expert.
Final Artwork by Excel Artists
When a concept moves into production, Excel's in-house artists rebuild it as clean, print-ready artwork. That artist work is included in your Excel print order at no extra charge and is licensed for use on that production run.
The final hand-drawn artwork remains the property of Excel Sportswear by default. If you want rights to reuse the final artwork outside of Excel production — for example with other vendors, on merchandise, or in non-apparel media — the artwork may be purchased separately. User Uploaded References
By uploading any logo, trademark, photograph, artwork, vehicle image, building image, product image, character image, or other reference material, you represent and warrant that you own the content or possess sufficient rights and permissions to authorize its use.
You grant Excel Sportswear permission to analyze, store, modify, redraw, trace, stylize, and generate derivative concepts from the uploaded content for the purpose of concept generation and related design services.
No Guarantee of Exclusivity
AI-generated concepts may resemble existing artwork, logos, designs, or other creative works.
Excel Sportswear does not warrant that AI-generated concepts are unique, exclusive, registrable, or free from third-party intellectual property claims.
Users are responsible for performing their own clearance review before any commercial use.
Production Rights
The default path for turning a concept into finished goods is production with Excel Sportswear. Generating a concept does not grant manufacturing rights, printing rights, commercial licensing rights, or merchandise production rights with any other party. Separate written agreements are required for any commercial use outside of an Excel Sportswear production order.
